Committees With Nominated/Elected Members
- Church Board (by nomination only):
Oversees the overall business of running our church. Members of the Church Board must: be nominated by the Nominating Committee, be voted in (by the congregation), belong to one or more committees, and serve a three-year term. We consciously choose a diverse Board, open to all members (18+) and all genders.
Meets: 3rd Monday, every month, 7 PM.
- Church Board Nominating Committee:
Chosen annually to nominate potential Church Board members for the next year. Meets in November.
- Pastoral Relations
The Pastoral Relations subcommittee seeks to support and maintain an open and healthy relationship between the pastor(s) and members of the congregation as an advisory group to the pastor(s) by sharing ideas, dream expectations and concerns of the congregation, and as support for the pastor(s) by interpreting roles, functions and needs of the pastor to the congregation.
