2. We ask that children be toilet trained.
3. A completed registration form and non-refundable registration fee will hold your child's position in the class and cover expenses for consumable items. We are a non-profit organization.
Depending on class size, we may be able to accept enrollments during the year, provided children meet age requirements and/or have been approved by the preschool director.
Circle Time: This is a time when we come together as a group. We say the Pledge of Allegiance and engage in thematic activities, calendar, stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplay.
Snack Time: Healthy, theme-related snacks
Outside Play/Recess: If weather permits, the children will go outside to play. Children use their muscles as well as their imaginations as they engage in fun, healthy exercises such as running and jumping. Our playground has a wood fence for privacy and safety. Indoor play will be in a fun gym area.
Small Group Instruction: With the Teacher or assistant, children engage in activities such as alphabet recognition, counting, cutting, patterning, printing their names, and more. This is also a time when we can individualize instruction to meet the needs of each child.
Learning Centers/Choice Play (Independent Activities): Children are free to choose from a variety of centers set up in the classroom. Some of these centers may include books, pretend play, block play, puzzles, sand and water play, science activities, math activities, home life learning, library time, writing and easel painting
Art: Art time provides opportunities for creativity and self-expression, as well as fun tools for reinforcing color, shapes, and size relationships.
S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics): STEM activities include problem solving, life skills and working in a group.
Please call to request a handbook that includes a detailed calendar and weekly lesson plans/curriculum.
