We are a church that strives to embody God's all-inclusive love. No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome at St. John's UCC. In a world that encourages division and exclusion, we do our utmost to be a beacon of the unconditional love of all people. There is always a place for you at St. John's UCC!
Our leaders and Committees work hard to bring Jesus' light and strength to our world. Everyone is welcome, and there is something for everyone, from infants to senior citizens. There's always something going on at St. John's. We're one of the most active churches of our size that you will ever find, and we have a reputation of being a friendly and welcoming church.
The members of St. John's United Church of Christ have always been firm believers in the saying "from those to whom much is given, much is expected," and as the years pass, St. John's will endeavor to be in the forefront of community activism and strive to help those around them.

While we eagerly embrace modern music and theology, our 10:30 service is a traditional church service. It includes weekly singing of The Doxology and The Gloria Patri, recitation of the Lord's Prayer (KJV), NRSV Bible liturgy, responsive readings & unison prayers, music performances (some contemporary), Children's Time, and hymns from the Chalice Hymnal.
Look for tall, laminated cards in the back of every pew for information that will help visitors with regular parts of our Worship Service.
Please fill out the information about yourself and your family as the Fellowship Pad makes its way down your pew. Take a moment to meet the people sitting on either side of you.
You're encouraged to ask for Afghans, Children's Bulletins, Back Supports, Blankets, and Phonic Ears Hearing Devices.
Please use the pink cards provided in the pews and pass them to the outer aisles for collection before the first hymn. These will be read aloud in Pastoral Prayer during the service and may be as general as you wish.
